3D scanning · Reverse engineering · FDM and SLA printing

Measured. Rebuilt. Made again.

We 3D scan the part you can no longer buy, rebuild it as an accurate CAD model and print it in FDM or SLA. One replacement or a small series.

Process

From a broken part to a new one in four steps

  1. 01

    Scan

We 3D scan the original, even if it is worn, cracked or in pieces.

  2. 02

    Model

The scan becomes a clean CAD model, with wear and damage corrected. You get the STEP file.

  3. 03

    Print

We print it in FDM or SLA, in the material that suits how the part is used.

  4. 04

    Inspect

Every part is checked against the model. You receive an inspection report with it.

FDM and SLA

Two processes, chosen per part

FDM

Strong, functional parts

Brackets, clips, housings, covers, jigs and fixtures. Tough engineering plastics, larger parts, lower cost per part.

Materials
PETG, ASA, PA12-CF, TPU
SLA

Fine detail, smooth surfaces

Small precise parts, knobs, gears, enclosures and master patterns. Sharp edges, fine features and a smooth finish.

Materials
Standard, Tough, High-temp resin
Example

Pump housing clip

The original was injection moulded in ABS and no longer made. We scanned a worn part, rebuilt the CAD model with the broken tab restored, and printed a batch in carbon-fibre nylon with a thicker wall.
